POLY enrollment

Every year, a student finishes their 'o' levels and have to be enrolled into either JC, Millenia Institute (MI) or even Poly. If you are such a student or about to be that student, you will probably think that poly has the best life. It is less stressfull and more enjoyable and even when you have a whole other year to go through, at least you still have hair on your head and not age as much as the people in JCs or even MI.That may be true (although I do not believe that there is such thing as an easy route) but do not be so hasty because , as the young internet people say, OMG, you have to go through the enrollment process.

At first you must be thinking, what is so difficult? You just write your particulars down and when the semester starts, you just submit them in. It is all of that but a lot more complicated. You have to sign the form and write down the particulars and then write the same thing down on another form to tell Mendaki or the government that you want your fees reduced (which, unless you are daft, you want to) then you have to go to the doctors office to let him do checks that you can do yourself with a friends uncle who is quite drunk but capable.and then you have to go online to do the same thing all over again. To make the whole thing worse, this will be the first time that you will be doing such a thing so every thing will be very confusing. Its like making a visa to a very hostile country where you will go to meet President Barack Obama and have a conversation with him in a room full of swine flu patients with his bodyguards standing by with guns raised. Okay, it is a little exaggerating but you get the idea, it is ridiculous

Have you watched the video where CNBC is interviewing President Obama and then he kills it?That to me is impressive (if you're excited by his skills what hapens when he kills Osama, or better Bush), but then losers who hate Mr Obama say that he is going to kill everyone with has very dangerous  fly swatting skills -.-  . Now listen up losers, if he has killed the cameraman or the interviewer that would give you the right to beat him up but he didn't so shut the (I can't use the F word can i?) up

For people living under a rock

There has been a financial crisis (is this the first time you heard of it?). What i can work out is that because I haven't posted for a long while, everyone got bored and so banks started lending money they haven't got to other banks who gave the non-existent money to Mexicans in Southern California who crap on your organic vegetables and can't pay it back and as a result of that your stuff are now worthless. What i have just done there is summarise the financial crisis quite well.

But it is true though. I've heard quite some time ago that there was this man who bought a Volkswagen Phaeton for S$296 000 and had just been offered S$51000 (of course this is not in Singapore).Another is an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. It was bought for S$508000 and sold it for S$254000 which is half the value. My favorite one though was a 2004 Mercedes Benz CL600. It's 4 years old with relatively low mileage and in black. Bought for S$300000 (not in Singapore so there's no COE) and it was sold for the equivalent of S$32000.

I'll tell you exactly what has happened here. Since 1992 the world's economy has been playing musical chairs so whatever stuff you got right now you've got to keep it for life.

Stupid Stuff

You may imagine that a bloke like me would rather go out on the weekend and look at a womans arse (and you might be right) but sometimes i surf the net, not for porn (No im not a pervert) but to search for some stupid stuff.

Full size toy cars

I know there are some guys out there when you are in a toys store you always look out for little licensed toy car models.I freely admit that I do that sometimes.The thing is that the toys of a 1:15 scale toy car is abot $5, so that means that the factory sells it to the retailers for about $2.
Everything on the little car works (except that it doesn't have an engine). It is even better built than the real thing (the bonnet of the Range Rover Sport fits better on the car than on the real thing).I wonder why don't the factories make their cars full sized? If they do make it full sized it would cost about $75.Spend like $300 on the engine cause no one in Singapore drives fast anyway. I know ya'll are asking "What about safety?".Well my sensible readers, take a toy car and throw it against the wall.Normally people throw things at the speed of 90km/h, so if you scale it up it would be 945km/h.You would notice that the car isin't even chipped.There you go,

my favorite Movie of this year

There were alot of great movies out this year. Obviously the biggest is 'The Dark Knight'.I'm suprised by how good the movie is. The first time I never slept through a batman movie. And "Quantum of Solace" was greater than Casino Royale which is one of the greatest Bond movies ever.

They were all great but one movie stands out head,shoulders, chest, hip, knees and chin bones above the rest(to me at least) is Speed Racer.

Some people say that it is too childish too cartoony.Well those people are sad and have no imagination.Speed Racer is a good film. I wont say what its about (i know what its about but i just don't bother).It has a good script, great special effects and the best ever art direction.Too bad the acting aint good enough, its like watching childish men=)
